Essential questions to guide student research on particular groups around the world and throughout history. Children read the question, research, and write notes on 3" cards (ideally of the same color as the relevant question chart; a few are included in the print) and set them in each column below the question. I did not create this, but I think someone in my Montessori Northwest 2019 class did after we saw how out-of-date and potentially offensive the traditional charts were (which showed "temperate" people as totally modern, "tropical" people still living traditional
