This file contains mini posters that I made for our first graders to practice counting edges, vertices, and faces in three dimensional shapes. I used them for independent work or discovery time during BUILD stations. I usually print them letter size and laminate them to let the students trace with dry erase markers the edges, or circle the vertices. I also print them in smaller sizes to use them in the students interactive journal. It contains a total of 10 pages, each page has one shape. The fo

This is a power point file that contains three different pie-graphs that I made for our first graders to practice answering questions to a pie-graph. I used them as a quick test with clickers that we have in our classroom. Any student that scored 80% or more goes to BUILD station. Then I re-teach to the a smaller group of students and try again with the following graph. A great way to test without wasting paper. It's also super fun for the students!

This simple clock can be used in a center to teach students how to tell time in an analog clock, or digital clock.
I find that many of my students find it difficult to tell time because they don't understand where the number for the minutes comes from. So why not put all the numbers on the clock.
I laminate this clock for the students to use in centers, or in whole group or small group setting when teaching time.
