Showing a Number Two Ways Presentation
This PowerPoint was designed to go with Scott Foresman Addison Wesley 1st grade 8-4 Lesson. This presents the tricky concept of showing a number two ways with place value models. For example, 45 could be shown as 40 + 5 = 45 or 30 + 15 = 45. This presentation is animated and shows carrying a ten back to the ones place and breaking it apart.

Experience

I like to keep my teaching methods varied throughout the day. I think it is important to appeal to all learning styles.
My own education history
I graduated from Penn State University for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I am certified in Early Childhood Education (N-3) and Elementary Education (K-6). I recently completed my Master's of Education in Instructional Systems-Educational Technology.
