Welcome to Educated by Kay! My store combines over a decade of classroom teaching experience with a heartfelt commitment to student well-being and social-emotional growth. As an educator and school counseling intern, I create resources that not only teach academic skills but also nurture emotional intelligence, self-regulation, and positive classroom behaviors. Inside my store, you’ll find: Creative, hands-on lessons that blend literacy, math, science and art for meaningful learning experiences. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activities rooted in real-life school counseling strategies to help students build self-awareness, empathy, and resilience. Social skills lessons and behavior supports designed to foster emotional regulation and positive peer interactions. SPED-friendly resources developed in collaboration with special educators to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Hello, I'm Kay, an educator with a deep commitment to supporting the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally. With over 12 years of classroom experience in grades PreK–8, I specialize in math, literacy, and social-emotional learning (SEL). I hold a Master of Arts in Education and have completed 36 graduate credit hours toward my master’s degree in School Counseling. I've co-taught in SPED classrooms, completed a school counseling internship, and created dozens of SEL resources designed to build emotional awareness, communication skills, and classroom confidence. Whether you're a classroom teacher, counselor, or SPED educator, I create ready-to-use, impactful tools to help students succeed and help you feel supported in the process.
