About the store

Experience

I am an English teacher in a dual language immersion program. I love working with students and I especially love working with multilingual learners. I am in my 14th year of teaching and I was always the "cluster" teacher for multilingual learners.

Teaching style

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and geared towards the student's strengths and interests. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching, so I try to incorporate all learning styles into my classroom. My philosophy is that education is a partnership between the teacher, the student, and the parents. With a professional background in the dual language immersion program and love for teaching students who are multilingual learners, I know that I get to work with some of the most amazing students, and it is an honor to be part of their journey.

Additional biographical information

I am the wife, daughter, sister and aunt (B.A.E.) of a great family. I'm really blessed to have them! One of the best parts of my life is being a teacher. I love my students and do everything in my power to help them have a positive experience at school. When I'm not teaching, I love to get out of town and see the world.
