Teaching style

As a Special Education teacher, I believe that if a student can't learn they way I'm teaching, then I will teach they way the learn. I modify each lesson plan and activity to find the individual needs of my students. I apply hands on, multi-sensory, visual, social, verbal and kinesthetic teaching methods to each lesson. I believe that before you can teach, you have to connect. When you connect, you are able to better understand how each child learns. I strive to make my classroom and safe learning environment where all of my students feel safe, welcome and appreciated.
