I have 24 years experience as a Secondary School Science Teacher specializing in Biology whilst teaching at a UK OFSTED rated ‘Outstanding’ High School, at an International Private School and as also as a Private Tutor. I am fully qualified to teach KS3 Science, KS4 Science, KS4 Triple Science (Biology specialism) KS5 Biology & Applied Science and have experience of teaching pupils of all ability.

Teaching style

I have used different methods of teaching skills and engagement to ensure my students reach their full potential receiving numerous letters of praise from both my students and their parents over the years, thanking me for my support and for the help provided. I am dynamic in maintaining the highest standards of Teaching and Learning and innovative in keeping pace with future developments in education with a strong desire to help students with their academic, personal and social needs coupled with friendly yet professional approach and I am very keen to make a real difference to the lives of my students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

* In 2013/14 88% of my 32 students achieved an A or A* for Triple Science Biology at GCSE Level with the remainder achieving a B grade, which were the best ever Year 11 results for any science subject in the school. * Final exam results for 2014 have determined that I am in the top 25 teachers of Applied Science in the country or the equivalent of the top 10% nationally at A and top 25% nationally at AS Level. I have consistently returned similar results over the past 5 years. Additional 6 years experience in International Schools in Europe and Middle East.
