This no frills classroom economy system worked wonders for my grade 1-2 class! It incorporates daily math and is a great management tool. Editable so you can change it to fit your own class. I added a description on how I used it, but you can use it how it works for you.

Fun math game to practice 6 and 7 times tables! Need a deck of cards with the face cards removed (or all face cards can have a value of 10). Students take turns flipping a card and multiplying it by the number on the sheet. If they answer the questions, they get to cover the answer on their side of the board. First to cover all their numbers wins!

This one page document is great to have on hand for remembering the most important aspects of using the science of reading in primary classrooms. These strategies can be used with any scope and sequence/ program/ word list. Great to have for new teachers, substitute teachers and education assistants as well!

Take Math class outside! Use this activity as a centre or group activity while exploring the land. Sheets from 10-10,000 place value making it good for multi-age groups. Editable so you can change the nature pieces to fit your local area.

Use these as a mini project while learning about Biomes or Ecosystem. Students create a trading card for each ecosystem. You could even incorporate points, levels or create a game with their completed cards
