This lesson plan teaches students how to use their senses to identify and describe everyday objects. Using the sense of touch theme, students will generate descriptive words to describe objects in the classroom and record them on a log sheet. This will teach students how to use descriptive words and build a descriptive vocabulary. This lesson is 45 minutes in length which is made up of 10, 15 and 20 minute activities. Targeted for students of 2nd grade.
