I am a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist with 9 years of experience working within the educational system. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with students to support their development and success across various fine motor, sensory, and executive functioning skills. Though I initially found technology challenging, my experience in the educational field has provided me with valuable insights into how critical accessible and organized information is for optimizing therapy interventions. By collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals, I’ve seen firsthand how vital clear communication and up-to-date data are in providing effective support to students. Over the years, I’ve adapted to the changing needs of the school environment, learning to integrate technology and digital tools that enhance my ability to track progress, communicate with teams, and deliver quality therapy. I am passionate about ensuring that students with diverse needs thrive academically and socially, and I continuously seek new methods and resources to improve the delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
