About the store
I was a Special Education teacher for seven (7) years in Brooklyn, New York in a low income Title 1 elementary school community. For five (5) of those years, I was in a self-contained classroom (12:1:1 setting with 12 students, 1 teacher, 1 educational assistant). For the remaining two (2) years, I was in a Collaborative Team Teaching setting with the same General Education teacher. I am currently teaching in Connecticut in a similar community. I am a Special Education Interventionist who provides small group intervention for all academics.

Teaching style

I often use technology, which is dependent on available resources. Students engage in a lot of investigative collaborations to problem-solve. Hands-on activities are used whenever possible.
