Elementary students will have a fun chance of reinforcing their understanding of the ones and tens places by grouping numbers of aliens in groups of 10 and writing down how many are left over. Students will better understand what whole numbers are and that they can be represented by written symbols and be represented in amounts of tens and ones. In this 3rd grade math activity students partner up. Each has their own paper. They each roll a dice and put the number in the first cell under roll 1. Next they roll again and put the second number under roll 2. They now create a multiplication equation using the 2 dice. They then create a division equation using the two dice. Students find out what a witch's favorite subject is by solving a riddle.  In order to solve the riddles, they will need to find the products for 10 multiples of 10 questions. Also, students will fill out two multiplication and division fact family triangles

Students will first roll a number cube. This number will then let students know how many of the 10 animals need to be eliminated/subtracted. They will cross that many off. In this Halloween version of bingo, teachers can call either the quotient or the equation. In this activity, students will partner up. They will each get a single die. They will record their first roll on the worksheet. Then roll again and multiply it by 10. Next, they will find the product of their first roll times their 2nd roll which was multiplied by 10. Finally, students will find the sum of all of their products. This was created for those couple of days leading up to Halloween, you know, when kids have gone "spooky" themselves. In this pack, teachers will get 60 bingo cards and two call sheets. The bingo cards are in two different stacks. One stack is for the teacher to call out the products and the students have to find the equations. The other stack has the teacher calling out the equations, while the students have to find the products. Each card is unique and there are 68 equations and products

I use this Bingo activity as a review of multiplication strategies in my 3rd-grade classroom. There are 30 student cards and a teacher call sheet. This activity reviews groups of, repeated addition, using number lines to multiply and arrays. There are 16 squares per card and 25 different squares in the game. This way each card is unique and not all kids have all possible answers. When a student gets "Bingo" I actually have them go "Mmmmm, Multiplication" as if multiplication tasted good. I

In this addition and comparing numbers math game, students will have an opportunity to reinforce their greater than, less than, and equal to fluency. This is a game where students will roll dice, write those numbers down, add them up, and then compare them to see who has the better shot to score a goal.
