This math powerpoint lesson is great for teaching students to read, write, and understand the concept of numbers 0-100. The slide opens with colored-straws to represent numbers 1 blue straw = one, 2 yellow straw = two, etc. The next slide shows numbers 1-10 represented with blue cubes. Then the next several slides shows how we count on from ten in a shorter form - for instance, what if a bundle of straws represents 10? So if we have one bundle and two straws on the side, that makes 12. The
