Demographics/Place Geography Intro. Using If the World Were a Village
A middle school lesson plan introducing students to facets of the geographic theme of "Place" through the use of a picture book chock full of data. Students will learn the meaning of the world "demographics", and be able to share examples. Suggestions for various adaptations are provided. Visual and numeric presentation of data are both covered.
