About the store
I have 30 years of teaching experience. I taught 7 years in 2nd grade, 8 years in 5th grade and 7 years in first grade. I have taught a 1st/2nd combo and a 2nd/3rd combo. I also have been teaching education classes at our local Community College for the 15 years and I taught virtually for 3 of those years and have loads of experience in teaching online. I love technology and being able to use it in new and unique ways with my students. I thrive on any opportunity to make learning exiting and fun.

Mathematical Practices Question Stems
I have made question stem cards for the mathematical practices. These would be great to use to generate deep thinking for your students or to incorporate in your math talks. These are color coded and labeled by the mathematical practices. I plan to print two copies and laminate them. I am going to put one set on sticks and the other set on rings to use with guided math, math talks or individualized math instruction with my students. Hope these work for you. This packet is an all-inclusive packet for homework aligned with treasures for spelling and envisions for math.
Each set includes developmentally appropriate math problems to complete each night, as well as a spelling activity to practice each night. It also have a place for them to record their nightly reading in the reading log. (We actually work on fluency and assign the same story to read each night and encourage them to read other books as well.)

About the store
Experience
I have 30 years of teaching experience. I taught 7 years in 2nd grade, 8 years in 5th grade and 7 years in first grade. I have taught a 1st/2nd combo and a 2nd/3rd combo. Teaching style
I am a creative, out of the box type of teacher. I have ADHD and so I truly understand the viewpoint of those children who can not sit still and need to be moving. I enjoy taking "normal" lessons and activities and making them "extraordinary".

Additional biographical information
My hobbies are definitely a little different -- I am fortunate enough to be a member of a family dirt bike racing team. My husband, son (26), daughter (24) and myself all travel up and down the East Coast and race in several Dirt Bike Hare Scramble series. I am also super active in my gym and have my Crossfit and Crossfit Kids Certification.
