I'm not sure where it came from and appears out of print. The presentation of the activities is a little old fashioned but they work very well. It comes with a table of contents and all games come with instructions.

This is a snakes and fire truck ladders game that helps children learn and consolidate deleting the first phoneme from high frequency words containing consonant blends at the beginning of words. I was actually surprised how quickly this game works as an effective tool for scaffolding developing Phonemic Awareness skills of deleting the 1st phoneme from consonant blends. Fractions and decimals go fish. This game is handy for consolidating converting decimals to fractions. Just laminate and cut out the cards and students play. There is a matching fractions picture for each decimal. Students For 2 or 3 players (any more seems not to work very well). Each student receives either 5 or 8 cards each and the remainder of the deck is place face down in the middle of the players. They help develop reading fluency and automatic word recognition skills for cvc words. Students find these slides highly engaging and fun to use. Teachers can use these in games for 1 on 1 reading instruction sessions or challenge each other to make words and match them with and image facilitating basic vocabulary development.

Made this because we were teaching co-ordinates in math and a lot of Battleship style games have the x and y axises mixed up so participants have to say the y axis first (as opposed to the X axis). I changed it to Helicopter rescue because I had a couple of refugees in the class.
Bossy E Rule, Magic E Rule or Silent E Rule Game. Instructions are written at the bottom of the game board. Easy to play and students find it enjoyable. The game usually takes 10 mins to play. Will need a die (1-6) and counters for each player. The games is best if printed out on A3 paper and laminated to reduce wear and tear.
K - 3rd

This game works well for students who have just started learning the Bossy/Magic/Silent E rule. All words contain no spelling irregularities and allows students to just focus on applying the rule. It is easy to play requiring minimal instructions to the students. My Students like it and it is effective as a consolidations of skills tool.

This game is great for supporting students who struggle to segment words containing continuous sounds, continuous & stop sounds and stop & continuous sounds. I've used it a lot with young and older students a like. The game comes with instructions and although it appears very simple it provides enough challenge with out being overbearing for students to play and engage with the activity repeatedly until the skill is mastered.

This onset-rime slides are great to support students learning the bossy-e/magic e rule while emphasizing hoe the letter "c" followed by "e" makes a "sssssss" sound.
The game works like UNO. there are 3 kinds of word families; those with an ay, oy & ing in them. It is a useful teaching and consolidation game/activity to help students identify "ay", "oy" & "ing" digraphs in words and sound them out in the context of simple one syllable words (With a couple of exceptions).
