Fractions and decimals go fish. This game is handy for consolidating converting decimals to fractions. Just laminate and cut out the cards and students play. There is a matching fractions picture for each decimal. Students For 2 or 3 players (any more seems not to work very well). Each student receives either 5 or 8 cards each and the remainder of the deck is place face down in the middle of the players. They help develop reading fluency and automatic word recognition skills for cvc words. Students find these slides highly engaging and fun to use. Teachers can use these in games for 1 on 1 reading instruction sessions or challenge each other to make words and match them with and image facilitating basic vocabulary development.

Barrier Game Activity based on Connect 4 For Practicing asking each other if students can do, or play, various sports. Students have their own sheets of paper and cannot look at each other's while they are playing the game. Each student fills in their own & partners colours on their own sheet. The first to get 4 in a row is the winner.
