About the store
I absolutely love showing children when they are going to use math in their real life, because we use it all the time and we may not even be aware of it! So I love teaching math in a way that makes it relatable and applies to real life. I have taught 6th grade math and language arts in a middle school setting. I went on to teach 3rd grade and once again I loved teaching those little kiddos everything, but math was just so exciting to see them grasp! I then dropped to 2nd grade. I have also taught English to foreign students who are learning English as their second language.

Teaching style

Whenever I can, I try and make what we are learning applicable to their lives. "When am I ever going to use this?" is my favorite question to answer! I have more of a hands on learning style. I love to get my kids out of their seats and moving, whether that is doing a simple stand up sit down activity or just wandering around the room to solve questions.

My own education history

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Utah State University. I have a Middle School Math Endorsement and a Minor in Spanish.
