So I love teaching math in a way that makes it relatable and applies to real life. I have taught 6th grade math and language arts in a middle school setting. Teaching style

Whenever I can, I try and make what we are learning applicable to their lives. "When am I ever going to use this?" is my favorite question to answer! I have more of a hands on learning style. I love to get my kids out of their seats and moving, whether that is doing a simple stand up sit down activity or just wandering around the room to solve questions.

My own education history

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Utah State University. I have a Middle School Math Endorsement and a Minor in Spanish.
