Experience
I have been teaching English (and ELL/ESL students) for the past 16 years. I specialize in teaching 1st through 6th grade.
Teaching style
I believe in getting to know students, first, before helping students to learn.
After students feel welcome in the classroom, they are ready to learn anything! :)
Next, I believe in engaging young learners' attention through experiential learning experiences.
Last, but not least, speaking, writing, and reading activities should be age-appropriate and fun! :) Lessons must also address the different learning styles of students, as well as any special needs that a student may have.

I have a master of arts degree in Education and Globalization, and
a bachelor of arts degree in Literature and Creative Writing. (from Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA)
Next, I possess a TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) certification from the TESOL international school in Florence, Italy.
Finally, I earned a TEFL-C certificate (from Columbia University) This is a teaching certification for teaching English to children.
