Teaching style
I use a whole language approach to reading and a hands on approach to math. I focus on guided reading where I work with students in small groups to meet them on their reading levels and design my lessons around the phonics/skills they need.
My own education history
I graduated from Olney High School in 2000 and went to college at Baylor University. I graduated from Baylor in 2004 with a BS in interdisciplinary studies. From there I went on to begin work as an elementary teacher.
