This is a designed to be a morning eye opener for first graders.It should only take several minutes to complete. It is designed to cover the entire school year (36 weeks).

This is a year long first grade spelling unit that is based on sight words that are correlated to the SRA Imagine It series. It also contains word families. The words and skills get progressively harder as the weeks go on.

I use these sight word presentations each morning with my first graders to help them review their sight words. Over the years, I have seen how this daily review of sight words has helped increase my student's reading fluency.

These are parent/ teachers communication logs that I use in my student's daily folders. It allows me to let parents know about their child's daily behavior, if homework was turned in, and any comments needed between parents and the teacher.

I use these power point slides daily with my first graders. It is a great review each morning. When they master a level then I move to the next set of sight words. I still review all the words each day.
