This is a post-assessment for use after teaching direct and indirect objects in Spanish. You could use it as a worksheet as well. Answer key is included. It is a three page Word file. Feel free to edit as needed.
Students should have experience with both conjugated reflexive verbs and reflexive pronouns attached to an infinitive. Students do fill-in-the-blanks in Spanish. The clues are in English. Answer key included.
On this test students will answer questions in complete sentences in Spanish, fill in the blank, and translate from English to Spanish. Students will need to use conjugated stem-changing verbs as well as stem-changing verbs in the infinitive form. This two page word document may be edited. Answer sheet included.
Students will interview one another in Spanish and then write a report about their partner. Students will need to be familiar with present, preterite, imperfect, present perfect, future, conditional, and subjunctive in order to understand and answer all of the questions. Although it is classified as a "Present Subjunctive" activity, students only need to write three sentences in the subjunctive.
A script for basic conversation about your school day. One student has the handout which includes questions to ask a partner as well as predictions for how the partner should answer each question. Upon hearing the answer, student A can help student B fix any mistakes. Students should have covered names of classes, ordinal numbers, me gusta, tener, adjectives which might describe a class, and interrogative words.
This two page word document can be edited to fit your needs. On this short assessment or worksheet, students answer questions in Spanish in complete sentences and translate sentences using the preterite and imperfect past tenses.
A list of twenty nine questions for a Spanish 1 student to ask while interviewing a classmate. Teacher can determine if student should write down responses in first person, third person, or whether to write at all. Students will need to be familiar with names of courses, regular verbs, stem changing verbs, ir and places, and tener expressions.

This dialogue is appropriate for second semester Spanish. The one page dialogue reviews stem-changing verbs and direct and indirect object pronouons, including double-object and pronouns attached to the infinitive. Have students work in pairs to read the dialogue out loud. Then allow them to discuss for comprehension and finally each student writes a summary of the dialogue in Spanish.
Students work in pairs. Distribute the handout to one of the students in the pair. Students will talk about all of their classes The handout contains a script of questions for Student A to ask Student B. Student B does not have a handout, but tries to answer based on their own experience. The handout has the probable answers that student B will give. Students work in pairs. Each has a set of sentences on their own paper. Student A reads his sentences aloud to Student B. Student B then rephrases the original sentence, replacing the direct object with a direct object pronoun. Student A has the correct answer on his sheet to share with Student B if needed. Then Student B reads his sentences and student A creates a new sentence using a direct object pronoun.

Pairs of students share one game board. Each student is trying to connect three squares in a row before their partner does. A student will choose a square such as "Yo escribo la carta a ti," and rephrase it with direct and indirect object pronouns, telling their partner "Yo te lo escribo." Students cut out root words and endings for AR, ER, IR verbs and arrange like pieces on their desks. The teacher reads from a script and students assemble the verbs that the teacher calls out.
You will need scissors for each student. Give each student the attached page and tell them to cut out all of the pieces and arrange them on their desks face up, so that they can see everything. They should position similar words together - groups of subject pronouns, indirect object pronouns, direct object pronouns and verbs. Make sure that they cut out the accent mark as well!
