Experience

I’ve been teaching high school English Language Arts since 2016 and bring nearly a decade of classroom experience to every resource I create. Throughout my career, I’ve served as both a grade-level ELA lead and team leader, helping to guide curriculum alignment and instructional planning. My passion lies in designing engaging, scaffolded resources that support students in building confidence and mastery in reading, writing, and critical thinking. Whether it's mythology, British literature, or essay writing, my goal is always the same: to make purposeful ELA instruction accessible, effective, and impactful.

Teaching style

My teaching style is grounded in transparency, reflection, and connection. While I consider relationship-building my greatest strength, I achieve that by opening the curtain for my students—sharing my thought processes, my expectations, and even my mistakes. I approach every lesson with honesty and purpose, modeling real thinking and encouraging student voice. Though my classroom may feel relaxed to some, it’s intentionally built on mutual respect, structure, and empathy. I strive to meet students where they are and guide them forward, rather than expecting them to conform to my pace. Over the years, my approach has evolved to prioritize equity, student ownership, and meaningful academic risk-taking.
