Help your students develop their writing skills by using this paragraph of the week product. Students will have 36 weeks of prompts including narrative, explanatory, opinion and informative. Each day of the week, students will produce a part of a paragraph and then put it all together. I have taught ELA in multiple grades in a large urban school district for more than 20 years. My favorite of those multiple grades is 4th grade.
Teaching style
I am very much a student centered teacher with extremely high expectations for all learners. I meet students where they are and move them forward as they are ready. I also put a strong emphasis on building relationships with students, and I truly believe that if I expect it, they will learn.
