I send this letter home to my parents on the first day of school letting them know what their child is responsible for during the current 9 week grading period. In the middle of the grading period I send home a letter to parents to let them know where their students are with their goal up to that point.
I gave this sheets to my students at the beginning of each week. They kept it in their folder until the DLA quiz on day 5. This is what I used for my students to correct their sentences daily.
These sheets correlate with McGraw Hill Wonders reading series.

*One essay in which students use both texts to analyze a task.
These are Wonders study guides that correlate with the 4th grade books. Each study guide has the name of the stories they will be reading, the comprehension strategy, the comprehension skill, spelling words, and vocabulary words.

These slides are the whole 4th grade DLA. Each flip chart includes a different week. For each day in the week, I wrote the slides three different ways (the wrong way, the wrong way with edit marks, and the correct way). This was something I did every single day and it made all the difference in the world to have this flip chart already made. Enjoy!
