Experience
2014-2015 was my first year of teaching. I currently teach 2nd grade. I have learned an immense amount throughout the last 5 years. I enjoy teaching and am looking forward to many more years!
Teaching style
I am still coming into my own with my teaching style. The school I previously taught at was a pilot school for Whole Brain Teaching (WBT), so I have been implementing those strategies into my classroom this year.
My own education history
I attended a private Catholic school from Kindergarten through 5th grade. There were two grades per teacher. The most that was ever in my class was seven students. I was also the only 5th grader. I then transferred to a public school when the school shut down. What an adjustment!
I attended Indiana University and majored in Elementary Education with an area of interest in Reading.
Additional biographical information
I am married to a wonderful, supportive man who appreciates my determination and eagerness to teach. He suggested that I share some documents on TpT to 'spread the love' and help others. We hope you love the items as much as I love making them!
TPT is the largest marketplace for PreK-12 resources, powered by a community of educators.
