About the store
I have been teaching for a decade! :) Love teaching Kindergarten, but started teaching First Grade this year. It is a change, but I am getting my creative juices flowing through this site and on my own by trying something new. I have taught Special Education Preschool, 2nd Grade, Kindergarten and now 1st Grade. I also spend my summers tutoring and Teaching 3rd Graders to help them pass I-READ.

Long Vowel Roll and Read
This pack is of five roll and read games. Students roll a number cube. Then the student reads a word in that column. If the child reads the word correctly they get to cover it with their colored tile or manipulative. Play continues until one student gets four in a row or two sets of four in a row.

Long Vowel Board Game
This is a fun way for students to review the long vowel sounds through play. This can also be used in small group as a review for some of the students who are struggling with these sounds. My students love anything they can play like a game while practicing reading skills.

I love wake boarding in the summer. I have two cats and two dogs...it is like a zoo. One of my dogs is a 90 lb black lab who thinks he is 10 lbs and would play with a tennis ball until he collapses and the other is a 14 lb mix dog who thinks she is 90 lbs. My cats, well, they have their own personalities and can check them out in my main picture. :)
