About the store
My mother and I combined have 20+ years in education. My mother (Judy Brown) worked in the special education field and the 2nd grade classroom. She is still involved with children through systematic testing 3 times a year. She also tutors students in reading. I (Rachel Thiry) will start my 5th year in the 3rd grade classroom. Format
Spring Subtraction Story Problems with Regrouping
~This activity is excellent for use in a math workshop setting.
Each workshop group is given a set of cards and recording sheet. The students work together to complete each story problem.
~SCOOT activity
Place the cards around the classroom. Give each student a recording sheet. Students rotate through each card completing the story problem.
When completing the SCOOT activity, I require my students to check in with me after they finish 3 problems. Check in with me allows me to monitor
