Elementary Ed Adventures

35 weeks of nightly math fact fluency homework and 35 corresponding assessments. Each week of homework is on 1 sheet of paper. There are 24 questions per day. Students are to record the amount of time it took them to complete the 24 problems. They try to beat their score each night. On Friday (in my class) they will take the corresponding assessment. I only give them 1 minute to complete the 24 question assessment. Answering 20 in 1 minute is our goal. The math facts get progressively ha

50 pages of math facts that start out easy and get progressively more difficult. There are 20 questions on each page. I put these in a sheet protector in students' binder and they use a dry erase marker to try and complete each page in one minute. When they can complete it in a minute parents send a note and they move on to the next level.
