About the store
Hey y'all! Shea and Alena here from Elementary Edventures! We are a couple gals teaching together in Virginia and creating some amazing products that benefit the teachers and of course, the kiddos!
We began our journey as new teachers in Virginia. We were placed in 3rd grade together and on the same team so it worked out really well. As the year grew on you could say we became "Teacher BFF's." So far we have taught 2 years in 3rd grade together and then next year we will be moving to 4th grade together! In 4th grade we will be teaching just Math and Core (Social Studies/Science).
We are loving our teacher journey and really cannot wait to see what this year brings.

Comparing Numbers Interactive Notebook
INB for Comparing numbers. Contains 2 different templates with top and bottom pages that can either be stapled together or glued directly in their notebook.
One template contains the greater than, less than and equal to signs and the other is a blank template. Both have bottom pages that are designed for students to create their own examples using the correct symbols.

Rounding INB that contains 3 different rounding templates. Each template contains at top and bottom page for students to either staple together or glue in their notebooks.
Top pages contain one blank, one rounding poem, and one rounding rules.
Bottom pages contain one back and two examples pages.
**In addition there are student rounding steps that can be pasted into student notebooks next to their INB page.

Place Value Interactive Notebook
INB for 3rd grade Place Value practice.
Designed to print top and bottom page then stapled together on the three dashed lines OR can print out just the top page and glue in student notebook. Underneath the flaps students will be able to write the value of each place in a number.

Teaching style
We are going to be trying out Flexible Seating this year.
We love, love, LOVE Guided Math Groups.
Hands on activities are our favorite. We are going to try and get more involved with STEM activities this year with our kiddos.
My own education history
Shea has a Master's in Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Alena has a Bachelor's in Early Childhood (Prek-4) and Special Education (Prek-8) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
