Since multiplication and division fluency is an important skill and standard starting in 3rd grade, I found it extremely important to not only teach the facts in the easiest order but also create a system of organization to track my students' progress. The reading document has a built-in reward every 100 minutes (based on the general expectation of 20 minutes/5 days a week) and rewards every 15 minutes or 30 minutes of practice with math facts and spelling.
