This PDF download contains a link for Interactive Google Slides. I designed this product to help my students create "Where I'm From" poems as inspired by George Ella Lyon. Slides 2-5 : Students will begin by reading and annotating the original poem. This always sparks great discussions as students unwrap Lyon's figurative language. I always strive for 100% engagement by planning meaningful lessons, incorporating technology, and using effective resources. It is important that I always know my students' academic needs, so I use formative assessments everyday to determine the effectiveness of each lesson.
