Supporting all students in a safe environment is important to any classroom. This resource was made for students to have a way to express themselves in their class in a safe and comfortable manner. The “I Need To Talk” card is meant to be placed in a 4x6 photo frame with attached post-it notes. Students can use the 12 different emoji emotion pictures when writing how they feel onto the “I Am Feeling” cards. Experience
I have been teaching for 19 years all at the primary level. I spent 10 years teaching kindergarten and for 6 years I taught 1st grade-with one year in between in 2nd grade! The past 2 years I have spent at the building level as an Instructional Coach in a K-4 school!
Teaching style
Set the stage to engage! That is me in a nutshell. I love doing classroom transformations as well as incorporating my students interests and loves into their education. I am a big proponent of STEM/STEAM education and having a Maker Space in the classroom. 21st century teaching is my goal!
