This PowerPoint can be used as beginning of year assessment to evaluate students' math skill level.

Students have to budget their money. The project also has 3 journal entries to assess student understanding.

There are 20 customary measurement questions covering time, length, capacity, and weight. All questions require students to convert between different measurement amounts before solving the problem. It's a great review for an unit test on measurement or for test prep sessions.

Each month has activities that students can do at home for extra practice in all curriculum areas. I use it as an extra activity that students complete for a monthly trip to the prize box.
