This quiz was used to check student progress during Unit 2 of 5th Grade's Everyday Math 4.

These 5 problems were used as extra work for students in unit 4 to practice writing expressions based of a story problem.

There are a total of 18 missing addend story problems. The first 6 have the sign they need to make the number sentence that matches the story problem. The following 12 have the number sentence set up but with no mathematical sign, students have to write the sign themselves.

Use this review to get progress monitoring data on student's knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing decimals. This worksheet has a total of 10 problems. It includes mixed problems of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems and word problems. On this assignment I did not let my students calculator, however sometimes on the back I would have them estimate to check for reasonableness of their answer.

Use as practice, homework, or assessment!

Print the document. Cut the document so that there are 6 problem cards. Split students into 6 groups. Give each group one problem. Have students put 1-6 on a piece of paper. Have them write an inequality for each situation on the problem card. Make sure they write the answer on their paper on the number the corresponds with their card.
