Minute Math Addition Strips
This is a spreadsheet of addition tables from 0 to 10 that is print-ready to be cut into narrow strips. Each strip has 25 addition sentences, ranging in addends from 0 to 12 for 1s, 2s, etc... to be completed with a minute timer as a math warm-up option.
--I print up to 50 of each strip, cut them, leave them in small narrow trays (or piles) on a countertop and tell students to remember which strip they are working on for mastery. I then log their mastery on an addition record sheet. This can b

Pick 5 Language Arts Menu - Primary Grades
I obviously did not invent "Pick 5" or "Daily 5" language arts rotations, but I did envision this handy tool to help monitor it.
I recommend printing a class set on card stock or attaching them to some card stock, and double laminating it. Then primary graders can check off the activities throughout pick five time all week. They can also put the time and date if you choose. If they use dry erase marker or crayon, they can be wiped clean each week.

Water Cycle/States of Matter
This powerpoint covers the concepts of molecular structure of water as a solid, liquid, and gas, and makes connections to understanding the water cycle. Explicit illustrations, basic academic language, and partner chat prompts make this a good resource for primary grades. I have used it in kindergarten and second grade.

Minute Math Strip Addition Record
I use this sheet to record which strips students have mastered by getting a perfect score. I mark M for mastery, and students know if they get a star on their corrected strip, they move up to the next addition strip the next time we do minute math.
Panes are frozen so that column headings are always in view, and print area is set to an easy 1 page doc.

Teaching style
Out of the box, super flexible, competent in any subject with constantly changing curriculum. I'm big on collaborative conversations, encouraging problem solving, and brave thinking. I focus on routines, but know that they will be randomly broken for cool reasons. And I'm a bit selfish! - By this, I mean that I have found incorporating fun parts of my life into the multiple subject day, like sports, PE games, singing, rapping, music technology, band clubs... I'm happier, and therefore a better teacher. This fosters more genuine teacher-student bonds. Well looky there, I filled a whole box!
