About the store
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My teaching journey began when I was 19 at a Girl Scout camp in Georgia. I was a counselor for 2 years before becoming a member of the Leadership Team and then the Aquatics Director. All throughout my summers as a counselor (and off season for troop camping) I taught girls to sail, kayak, canoe, paddle board, bake, build fires and shelters, and make countless different kind of crafts. Along the way I nannied several families too. I graduated college in 2015 and was a supply teacher for a year (planned a wedding and got married). In 2016 I started teaching 1st grade in my very own classroom and have been at the same school ever since (although I have changed rooms)!

Lucky Cereal Graphing | St. Patrick's Day | Activities

Those pesky leprechauns have visiting your classroom and left behind their favorite snack! ...along with another big mess! This Lucky Cereal graphing is a fun and delicious way for kiddos to practice their graphing skills. Give each kiddo a scoop or two of cereal and have them use the sorting mat to help them stay 'organized' while completing the activity. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Experience

I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. My teaching journey began when I was 19 at a Girl Scout camp in Georgia. Teaching style

I love doing hands on activities with my class. I am also a BIG fan of anything that gets my class up and moving during class. I also enjoy using centers in my classroom. This year of teaching Virtually and Face to Face kids has been incredibly difficult, but I'm doing the best I can.

My own education history

I begin my college experience at (then) Armstrong Atlantic State University (now it's just Armstrong State University). I transferred after a year and a half to Georgia State where I graduated with my bachelors degree and ESOL certification.
