Elementary Tech Coach

This is a Smart Notebook file that can be used to teach and review addition facts in the primary grades. There are 18 slides with matching card games to practice addition facts. Great to use on your Smart Board as part of your lesson or it can be used as a math center game.

Here is a Smart Board activity that you can use with counting using 10 frames. Students will drag the counters into the 10 frame then use the Smart board pen to write the amount of objects. There are some slides with numbers 1-10 using one ten frame. Other slides have 2 ten frames for numbers 11-20.

I created this activity for Kindergarten and 1st Grade. It can be used as an introduction to subtraction. This is a Koosh ball game with 12 slides. Each slide has a problem for them to solve. Students will be given the total number of penguins and shown a part of the group. Students can hold and drag on the penguins to create enough penguins to equal the total. Each slide has students comparing two groups of farm animals. Students will write the number sentence in the blank space. Students can check their work by clicking on the cloud to reveal the correct answer. Students will be focusing on "how many more".
