This is a 16 slide Smart Notebook file to help you teach 2D and 3D shapes. The 2D shapes covered include the square, circle, triangle, and rectangle. The 3D shapes include the cube, cone, sphere, and the cylinder. There are 8 slides describing the shapes, 2 slides where student label the shapes, and 6 interactive slides for review.

There are 29 slides with a problem on each page. This is self checking activity. Students can tap on the question mark to check to see if they have the correct answer. I created this 16 slide basketball themed game to practice 2 and 3 digit addition. Students will "fling" the basketball at one of the baskets. They will click on the closest basket and work out the addition problems by using the Smart Board pens. Students at their seat can use paper/pencil. To reveal the answers, just click on the basketball. There is a 2 point gameboard for 2 digit addition and a 3 point gameboard with 3 digit addition.

I created this lesson to help my students practice expanded form. Several slides have the students creating the numbers using base 10 blocks then writing the expanded form. There are some slides with matching activities and click to reveal slides. This would be great to use as a whole group or as a station with a small group of students.

This Smart Board lesson has 10 pages of measuring practice with a ruler. 5 slides have students measure in inches while the other 5 slides measure in centimeters. We created this Smart Board lesson to use with your daily calendar activities. Each month has it's own page. Students can drag the correct date and day of the week onto the calendar. When finished, they can click on the link to get to a "Number of the Day" page. After completing the number of the day activity, students can click on the "Today's Weather" link. This page will let you keep track of the weekly weather.

This lesson can be used in a small group or with the entire class. This Smart Board lesson was designed to help practice changing improper fractions into mixed numbers. There is a bowling theme with 10 frames. Click on the bowling ball on each slide to reveal the answer.

This Smart Board lesson has 14 slides to help you teach lines of symmetry. The first three slides have the students draw the lines of symmetry using the line tool. This is a Smart Board activity that you can use to teach money in 2nd grade. It discusses the value of a quarter, nickel, dime, and penny. Teachers or students will put the coins in order from greatest to least and vice versa. There are also several pages where teachers or students will need to use coins to make a certain value of money.

I created this Smart Board lesson to teach basic division concepts. Each of the 10 slides has a story problem about putting items into groups. You can drag the items into groups and then write the math equation with the pen tool. See sample:

This SMART Board lesson helps your students practice counting coins. Students can use a Koosh ball or simply tap on the game board to advance to a new problem page. Teams will tap on the number generators to find out home many of each coin they will need to count. After students drag the correct number of coins on their game mat, they will count, find the value, and write the answer. There are 15 linked pages of problems.

This interactive game works great in a math center. Two players (or teams) will spin the spinner. Players will add the numbers together and mark their game card below. The player who fills up their game card wins. There are 9 slides of addition facts practice. Have fun!
