This Zip file includes reading comprehension passages on the Paleo, Archaic, Woodland, and Mississippian Indians as well as two assessments and a Smart Notebook review lesson. These materials meet the new Tennessee social studies standard 4.1 and also provide practice in Common Core literacy.

This item is very similar to the Prehistoric Native Americans passages available in my store. It includes a nonfiction reading passage about the Cherokee people as well as vocabulary and practice answering text-dependent questions.
