Teaching style

I am very much a teacher who wants children to engage in their learning. My lessons are always very hands on. I believe in having children talk about their learning with their peers. I also focus my ELA lessons around the 7 reading comprehension strategies. I model all my lessons with clear objectives. Gradually I release the responsibility to the minds of my students and give them opportunities to apply what they learn independently.
