This lesson helps students compare and contrast the book and video of the Berenstain Bears' "Mama's New Job" story. When Mama turns her quilt-making hobby into a business, the Bear family worries that she won't have time for them. But as everyone pitches in to help her, they realize that things aren't so different after all--and they're prouder of Mama than ever!

Students identify their current strengths and choose which areas they want to develop into future strengths. Reproducible Progress Cards are available for all 70 goals for students to practice on a daily basis. They are able to track their progress towards attaining their goal each week as they improve. Students can point to their preference on the poster or say how they would like their teacher to greet them when entering their class. The smaller cards are for students to show their friends how they would like to be greeted.

This is a simple double-sided booklet for children to desensitize their fear of clowns in a safe and comfortable format.
