There is plenty of space for students to use pictures as this is developmentally appropriate for pre-k and kinder students. It can also be used as a differentiation tool when you give different organizers based on abilities.

This is a sight word resource. It includes some of the words from List A of the Teachers College Readers Workshop Curriculum. These are high frequency words that correlate with the Dolch list as well. Editable phone welcome note to students. This is in the shape of a phone and has plenty of graphics for students to help read their welcome note. This can be used for a welcome or goodbye letter or many things in between. I used this with students at the end of a summer literacy program and for my future students too. The students and families really enjoyed it. They said it showed a lot of thought went into the work! Enjoy.

Experiential learning; hands on activities; huge on dramatic play; let them get dirty!!! Let them try it; better that they try and make a mistake than for someone else to do it for them. It is true that we learn from our mistakes.
