About the store
Hi, I’m Gretchen! I am a practicing speech and language pathologist (SLP) working with kids of all ages in the private practice sector. Throughout my time in the speech world, I often get many of the same questions from parents and have had a difficult time finding concrete resources that are straight forward, easy to understand, and easily accessible. Elevate Speech Solutions was created to provide easy to use resource guides to help parents better understand and support their children in the realm of speech and language development as well as orofacial myofunctional therapy support. I often find once parents understand developmental milestones, some of the techniques we use in therapy, and what to look out for developmentally with their child, they feel more confident and reassured in their child’s progress. If you’re already involved in the speech therapy world, you are likely aware of the limited time an SLP has to provide in depth education, to effectively communicate intervention strategies used in therapy, and to help support similar growth towards speech and language goals at home. My hope is that there resources can stand as the bridge between busy therapy life and the education dedicated parents are seeking in order to support their child in the best way possible.
