About the store
I began my teaching career in 2010. I have taught second, third, fifth and sixth grades in both self-contained and departmentalized classrooms and served as a math team coach. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State University (2009), a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Alabama (2020), and an Education Specialist degree from the University of North Alabama (2022). Elementary mathematics is my passion! Providing quality instruction is an art; however, the single most important thing I do is step away from my content and build positive and impactful relationships with my students. If you can reach the heart, you can reach the mind!
