About the store
I have been teaching for over 22 years. While I have taught grades 3–12, the majority of my experience is with middle school students. Throughout my career, I have taught math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science, which has allowed me to design interdisciplinary lessons and help students make meaningful connections across subjects. My favorite subject to teach is the Humanities, where I can foster critical thinking, rich discussions, and real-world connections that truly engage middle school learners. I currently teach 8th grade Humanities at a public school in California. I am deeply committed to student-centered, rigorous instruction grounded in justice and equity, and I strive to create a learning environment that honors and celebrates the diversity of the human experience.
