This is a subtraction game using multiples of 10. Students shade in belly layers of 10 pounds until the characters they're playing each lose all 100 pounds. As they go and shade away each layer of belly, they also write down the subtraction sentence. Make subtraction cute! Each puppy starts at 20. Players use a 6-sided die to subtract from 20, racing to 0. Students should be writing down their subtraction sentences along the way.
