Nice tool to have when teaching how to add by making a 10. Once cut and laminated, students can use this to help them visually work with making a ten when adding 2 single-digit numbers.

About the store

Experience

I have taught 5 years in a private school and have recently made the switch to public school. I have taught in Pre-K, 1st and and grade classrooms, but currently in a First Grade classroom.

Teaching style

Although I've been teaching for a few years, my teaching style is still begin developed.

My own education history

I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and went straight to graduate school where I got a Masters in Early Childhood Education.

Additional biographical information

I love teaching! It's one of the only things, that no matter how stressful or how much work I have to put in to making sure everything is perfect for my little kiddies, I can't imagine not doing. In addition to teaching in early elementary, I also coach a high school swim team which gives me a chance to work with the older kids as well. I love all things that involve being active, too! I guess you can say that I can barely sit still - much like my little first graders :)
