With this activity students will cut out pictures and paste them into the appropriate category according to the long vowel sound that they hear in the middle or end of each word. The pictures are placed along the bottom of the page so that you can teach students how to cut them out without creating any paper scraps! Targets the following early literacy skills: - phoneme segmentation - long vowel sound identification - letter/sound correspondence
